Referee Watch in Association with EZE Group – Anthony Taylor

Barring any late changes, Anthony Taylor of Hertforshire will be in the middle for Blues’ Championship game against Wolves at Molineux today. Here is a look at his stats.

Season Performance

Mr Taylor has taken charge of ten games so far this season, showing thirty-five yellow cards. All but one of those games was at Premier League level; the exception being the Europa League match between Internazionale and St-Etienne last week.

Last Blues Game Refereed

You have to go back to December 2012 to find the last game that Mr Taylor took charge of involving Birmingham City – curiously enough the opponents that day were Wolves as well. Blues lost 1-0 to a Marlon King og and Mr Taylor booked 3 players – Roger Johnson of Wolves along with Paul Robinson and Hayden Mullins of Blues.

Last Championship Game Refereed

The last game at this level Mr Taylor was in the middle for was the match between Doncaster Rovers and Reading in April which finished 3-1 to the visitors. Mr Taylor kept his cards in his pocket that day but did award Reading a penalty.
