Blues Take Up Options to Further Consolidate Squad

Birmingham City have confirmed this week that they have taken up contract options on David Davis and Charlee Adams, keeping both at the club until the end of next season. Davis was man of the match on his return to the first team against former club Wolverhampton Wanderers while Charlee Adams made his league debut this season as a substitute in the 3-0 home win over Ipswich.

Charlee Adams made his league debut and second appearance for Blues on Saturday coming on as an injury time substitute for David Davis. It came just a little over two years after his debut for the club as an injury time sub for Olly Lee in the FA Cup third round.

Birmingham City drew 2-2 in the Professional Development League 2 game with Bolton Wanderers this afternoon. Goals from Andy Shinnie and Emmanuel Mbende looked to have won it for the hosts but a late equaliser from Quade Taylor ensured the visitors took a share of the spoils.

A Cold Night In Coleshill – Birmingham Senior Cup Match Reflections

Birmingham City’s Development Squad won their Birmingham Senior Cup semi-final tie against Coleshill on penalties following a 0-0 draw. A cold night saw both teams draw a blank and it took sudden death spot kicks to seperate the two. Blues will now face West Bromwich Albion or Nuneaton in the Final.
