The international weekend is upon us and it’s now just under a fortnight until Blues play again. No doubt attention will turn to the fragrant harbours of Hong Kong with a ruling due in Carson Yeung’s long running trial tomorrow and with the potential of an announcement into the continued funding of Birmingham International Holdings on Friday and there is a feeling that this week could be pivotal for the future of the club.

With Carson’s trial still ongoing (and the cross examination showing no signs of coming to a rapid conclusion) there have been a lot of questions about what happens next – ie will a verdict bring a rapid conclusion to the sale process and/or could Carson be forced out as major shareholder.
