Referee Watch in Association with EZE Group – Graham Salisbury
Barring any late changes, Graham Salisbury of Lancashire will be in the middle for Blues’ first Championship game against Middlesbrough at the Riverside on Saturday. Here is a look at his stats from last season.
Season Performance
Last season Mr Salisbury took charge of thirty games, showing eighty-four yellow cards and two reds. Of those games, seven were in the Championship and in those matches he cautioned twenty players and sent one off.
Last Blues Game Refereed
The last game involving Blues that Mr Salisbury took charge of was the 3-2 win over Plymouth in the Capital One Cup on 6 August. In that game, he booked four players; Neal Eardley, Dan Burn and Koby Arthur of Blues and Lewis Alessandra of Plymouth. Colin Tattum noted in his match report that the away team were fuming that a penalty wasn’t given and that Koby Arthur could have been sent off.
Last Championship Game Refereed
The last game in this division that Mr Salisbury took charge of was the match between Yeovil and Middlesbrough which finished 4-1 to the away side at Huish Park. In that game he booked Shane Duffy and Joe Ralls of Yeovil along with Seb Hines of Boro.
As this is the first game of the season there are no outstanding suspensions; suspension watch will return next game. Look out for an exciting EZE Group competition in tomorrow’s match preview.

Let’s just hope he has polished his dark glasses and thrown away the white stick.
he books an average of less than 3 players per championship game and as only sent 1 player off in his 7 games so that’s not to bad, we won when he last done a blues game and they won when he last done a boro game so its got draw written all over it with maybe 3 booking so looking forward to getting up there and enjoying the occasion,
bring it on!!! KRO.
Dave,
so looking forward to this game, I really believe that the Blues are going to surprise all the Nay Sayers and pessimists this year, obviously being here in Kazakhstan I cannot get to the games, but I will be logged into the wall for the live commentary from Andy Walker. Enjoy your trip and the game and have a very safe Journey there and back,
KRO
cheers Kazakblue, we go on a private coach with booze and grub a plenty and the atmosphere is truly great and looking forward to meeting up with all the guys and girls that go on these coaches and reliving that Bolton experience….I will have a beer on you mate and thanks for those last words…the journey back will be great if we get the three points, all the best out there. KRO. LOL.
Not looking too good at the moment Kazakblue.
lets hope the championship refs have improve since last season not holding my holding my …………kro
as longas they give us most of the 50/50 decisions and play to our rules i will be well happy. KRO.
Sorry for going off-topic guys,
but I’ve just moved to Worcester and can’t get Tom Ross out here.
Does anyone have any suggestions how I can follow the match
