Blog news – Short hiatus
I’ve made the decision after some thought to put updates on OP on hiatus for a short while. It’s not a decision I’ve come to lightly but one that is based on the way I’ve felt for a while and which has slowly crystallized in the past few weeks.

And we’re back…
It’s been an eventful 48 hours or so but I’m pleased to announce that OP should return to normal very shortly following my relocation.

OP is Four Years Old
Today marks the fourth anniversary of the Often Partisan blog being fully set up and open to Birmingham City fans. With this in mind I’ve put together some stats about how far it has come and how widely it is read.

New Year Round Up and Stats
Birmingham City turned down an offer of £1.5million from fellow Championship outfit Bournemouth for the services of winger Demarai Gray yesterday. Blues are apparently braced for larger offers but the Birmingham Mail reports that they will need to be in excess of the £3.2million received for Nathan Redmond.

A Statement Regarding Peter Pannu
Earlier this morning two comments made by Peter Pannu were posted on the blog and then republished, unedited and without comment as a full article. Following legal advice, I have prepared this statement on those comments.

Dear Peter Pannu
Last week, I published a piece on this website entitled “Just Say No” – in which I professed my hopes that the shareholders of BIH would not re-elect Peter Pannu to the board at the upcoming AGM as I felt the continuing presence of Pannu within the board was not good for the health of BCFC.

Postcards from HK: The Book
As I’m back in Hong Kong for a short period of time I thought that I would resurrect this series and give you some snapshots of what is happening out here. As it’s 12:30am and I’ve been here an hour I can’t really talk much about what I’ve found out but I can share some plans with you.

Often Partisan: Live in Hong Kong
Following a resounding “Yes” vote in the poll I conducted on the site (and with thanks to my workplace for allowing me to do this) I’ve now set up the live webinar – details of which are in this post.

Regarding Comments on OP
Monday, August 15th, 2016
I’m going to apologise in advance as this is a bit of a meta-post about OP in itself more than about Blues. I’m writing this because I’ve been asked about reinstating comments and not everyone will have seen the post I placed on FB the other day about it.
