Al today Eddy Brown has passed away at 85 what a true legand i was at st andrews when we beat Liverpool 9-1 he scored 3 goals i think aug 1954 team merrick/hall/green/boyd/smith/warhurst/astell/kinsey/brown/murhy/govan.
i think only alex govan is still with us O the memorys

Hello Al i was wrong he was 86 and we played Liverpool in dec 1954, Eddy Brown was an all round player (the goal poacher was Peter Murphy)not big for a centre forward but fast and a real gent but scored 70 goals in 138 games for blues thanks for the christmas present in 1954 and the memorys nov-blackburn W 3-1
