Blues Ladies
Another Win for Blues Ladies
A late Charlie Wellings goal secured another victory in front of a record crowd for Birmingham City Ladies which elevated them (albeit briefly) to third in the table. In a game a little devoid of quality there were few chances for either team and in the end it took a bit of luck for Blues to finally break the deadlock.

Blues Ladies Draw With Reading
Blues Ladies might have reason to be a little bit disappointed with a scrappy draw against Reading Women at the Autotech Stadium on Thursday night. Despite chances for Freda Ayisi and Jade Moore they couldn’t capitalise on long periods of superiority and had to take a share of the spoils.

Blues Ladies: Youth v Commercialisation
Last season was a tough one for Blues Ladies. It was always going to be difficult to replicate the form that saw them close to winning the title in 2014 and with so much money in the game now it does seem that it’s more difficult for David Parker’s team to compete; with the loss of keeper Becky Spencer and Karen Carney it’s going to be even more so this season.
