BIH: Informal Non-Binding Offers Will Not Be Entertained

Birmingham International Holdings today confirmed to the HKSE it will not entertain any “informal, non-binding offers” for Birmingham City FC.

Postcards from HK: Strict Rules and Enforcing Them

As the last day of the month and the BIH board meeting approach I’ve had a few questions about why the Stock Exchange are so laissez-faire in their approach to Birmingham International Holdings and their problems. I can’t promise that I have the answers but the last few days I’ve learned a lot about the way HK and China are run and it goes some way to explaining the situation.

Carson Yeung Given Two Weeks to Prepare to Defend New Lawsuit

Carson Yeung’s lawyers were back in court this morning as the imprisoned former President of Birmingham City was given two weeks to prepare his defence against a civil action raised against him for an unpaid debt.

BIH Announce Change of Company Secretary

Birmingham International Holdings today made an announcement to the stock exchange about a change of company secretary. Chow Hiu Tung, who was appointed company secretary in December 2012 has resigned to be replaced by Wong Wai Kwok, effective April 23.

Carson Yeung sued over HK$2.32million debt

There was more bad news for Carson Yeung yesterday as a writ was filed in the High Court by Hansom Finance Limited to recover HK$2.32million (approx £180,000) from him after Carson defaulted on a debt from April 2013.

Carson Criticised in HK Press for Selling BIHL Shares

Less than a month after telling reporters post-EGM that he wouldn’t sell his shares in BIHL, Carson Yeung has been criticised in the HK economic press for doing just that.

Former BIH Director Back In Court Over Wrongful Dismissal Claim

Former BIH Director Lee Yiu Tung was in court today in Hong Kong over his claim for wrongful dismissal after being disqualified from being a director by Birmingham International Holdings in January of this year.

BIH Embroiled in New Courtroom Battle

Reports have emerged from Hong Kong that Birmingham International Holdings have found themselves embroiled in another courtroom battle. Former director Lee Yiu-tung took the beleaguered company to an employment tribunal today for a claim of unfair dismissal after his disqualification from the board on January 11 2013.
