First half goals from Charlie Cooper and Corey O’Keeffe weren’t enough to secure the points against a Millwall side that came back with second half efforts from Harry Smith and Paul Rooney.

New Birmingham City recruit Jack Storer has been told by boss Darren Sarll he needs to make the “right choices” in his private life if he is to be a success at St Andrew’s. The Stevenage caretaker manager told the Hertfordshire Mercury that Storer has to “create a better professionalism in his life”.

Blues Through to Senior Cup Final

Birmingham City won through to a second successive Birmingham Senior Cup Final after beating Nuneaton Town 1-0 at the A1 Gas Force Stadium. Corey O’Keeffe scored the only goal of the game having robbed Boro left back Ciaran Keane of possession just outside the Boro area before slotting past keeper Zeus de la Paz.

Stalling a Revolution

Birmingham City lost 2-0 at home to Rotherham yesterday in what was a disappointing result against the team who were bottom of the league. In a performance rated as “flat” by Gary Rowett, Blues struggled to maintain any kind of possession and were beaten by goals from former Blues striker Matt Derbyshire and Tony Andreu.
