BIH Confirms Suspension of Shares is Regarding Comments Made on OP
Birmingham International Holdings have today confirmed that the continued suspension of trading in shares in the company is in relation to comments made by Peter Pannu on this website.
The announcement confirms that a complaint made to the HKSE has triggered the suspension and that trading remains suspended pending a “detailed clarification announcement”.
This announcement follows hot on the heels of the article in yesterday’s edition of the South China Morning Post alledging misappropriation of funds by Victor Ma Shui-Cheong and I do wonder if it’s more than a coincidence that this announcement (which is pretty humiliating for Pannu) was signed off by Ma.
Any clarification announcement made to the Stock Exchange will have to be signed off by the whole BIH board and then confirmed with the Stock Exchange prior to share trading being restarted. With the BIH board seemingly in open insurrection at the moment this will not be an easy task and I believe there is increasing pressure on Pannu to now resign completely from the board of BIH – particularly as this will be fresh in the mind of shareholders come the AGM on January 6.
As much as this whole charade will have been embarassing, what it has done is brought into sharp focus in the minds of the regulators in Hong Kong the problems behind the scenes at Harbour Centre and hopefully it will push them into ensuring that BIH is run in a better way in the future.

ha ha ha, ho ho ho
Oh yeah! What goes around, comes around!!! LOL
Oh how the mighty have fallen
In most situations there are good guys and bad guys, trouble here is that we seem to owned by a company run by two sets of bad guys and I have no idea if one faction is any better than the other.
Would be great to see Pannu’s hubris bring about his downfall.
Respect to Dan for shining a light into the murky swamp that is BIH.
I suspect the board have delayed the AGM in anticpating they can find enough evidence to force PP to resign.
Problem with all this is that further delays will be enevitable.the money is running out, share dealing is suspended and we can’t sell the club.
Off the field we are facing some very serious issues.
Good things out in open a little more
It will all get sorted they will be forced to sell the club in the end have faith blue noses let’s enjoy rowetts revival and get behind the lads kro ,
They won’t be forced to sell the club, HKSE will just instigate hoops that they might have to jump through.
Yeung has no intention of selling, the last two years of double talking with potential buyers proves that.
Liverpool’s old owners were made to sell the club by the FA etc and i think that is our only hope or someone makes an hostile takeover of BIHL, but if that was a possibility surely one of the three or four potential buyers would have done thatby now.
Any new buyer seems to want the club on the cheap, as none of them have ‘real’ money in terms of running a championship club aiming for promotion.
After inquiring if almajir had adequate amount of testicular mass to meet him in HK,
it’ll be interesting to see if Peter Pannu possess any testicles at all,and respond in public about his BIH castration and loss of credibility.
Is the bobbing turd Pannu about to finally get flushed….lets hope they pull the chain!!!
Its flushing
One day theyll sell us; i hope
I’m not sure if this is something to crow about, but Daniel’s blog seems to know no bounds in the influence it plays on all things Blues. I bet he never imagined it would ever be quoted in HKSE announcements when he started it back in 2011. You honestly couldn’t make this particular story up. In years to come, Dan will be dining out on how he slayed Pannu via a blog entry that led to his ill-chosen and illiterate response.
I’m still wondering why Mr Wray thought he could buy the club from BIHL without it losing it’s place on the HKSE. Does he know some legal way that has not yet been explained. Does anyone know or is it just a lood of nonsene?
Looking forward to the Christmas break and reading my new book the missus has bought me ;-) KRO and have a Great Christmas all Bluenoses!
Good things come to those that wait and Christmas is nearly here.
Merry Christmas to you all and especially Dan the man who took on the might of Pannu and kicked his arse severely.
And I hope you all have a prosperous and happy new year.
The year has ended in surprising fasfion with the BIHL giving PP the kick up the arse which he brought on himself. I suppose we can look on that as our Christmas bonus. Gary Rowett was the best present of all and the new year looks promising. I’m happy at least thanks to Dan, GR and all his staff and the players! No relegation, I thinkk and possibly even better things to come. Merry Cghristmas all!
Yes the year as had its ups and downs but the new manager and team have given us fresh hope and belief for the new year … IDE like to wish all bluenoses a great Xmas and lets all continue to support and get behind the blueboys.. Here’s to three points Boxing Day . Kro
Guess what? The incredibly dubious people who call the shots at BCFC (and I don’t mean those who work at the ground) have agreed to “adjourn” the BIHL AGM scheduled for today to 6 Jan…
Are you actually reporting this after dan has just announced this well before…..?
I have genuinely only just found out about this latest nonsense.
This will please Dave . Taken from a Forum.
Picked up a couple of tickets today, had to prove where i was from as they said Derby fans had been trying to buy tickets in home ends. Very few tickets left. Ticket office said expected it to be a sellout, i struggled to find 2 together anywhere in the ground
Derby fans trying to buy tickets for the Tilton and Kop? If any of them have, let’s hope nothing kicks off as Blues really don’t need any more problems with possible trouble inside the ground. We know how many media hacks seize on that sort of of thing and sensationalise it to ridiculous lengths with the full support of their editors.

if there not many job opportunity maybe he can apply to go on X-factor, unfortunately there every opportunity he could be voted off that as well …………….clean joke for xmas………
Absolutely chuffed were going to have a big crowd Boxing Day.. I’ve been saying 24/25,000 or round about that for a while and lets hope that’s the case, as for derby fans trying to get tickets in the Tilton, I hope one or two of them are sitting by me so I can personally boot them out myself which will give me the greatest of pleasures…. Looking forward to the game and I just hope that we win, play well and hopefully these selected supporters will come back in there droves for future home games and cheer us on to somewhere we might not have thought about 9 games ago.. Enjoy the day and lets make Saint andrews rock!!! Lol&kro
Just listen to yourselves. Why would you assume Derby fans sitting in the Tilton are troublemakers or have no ‘right’ to be there. It is a ‘home’ end by convention only and it is not illegal to be an ‘away’ fan to be there. Do Blues fans never try to sit where they can out away grounds if the club allocation is sold out?
Dave, If there are any Derby Fans sitting by you, why not offer the hand of friendship, speak to them, make friends. They are People , not an Alien species.
