What’s going on on Often Partisan
As I published three updates on the blog yesterday relating to Birmingham City news, I’m a bit drained on what to write for today at the moment and so I thought it would be a good opportunity to let you know about what is happening on the site.
Firstly, if you look through the players you’ll see that all the player stats are now nicely updated with pretty tables, and I’m working on adding details for the Academy players as and when I can find it. Over the next month or two I’ll be looking to add photos of the players, plus small biographies. I’m also in the process of putting together biographies for the board members, and I’m looking at adding a section on the team management.
There is also a FAQ page that is slowly being put together with collated data on the club, complete with citations. As there is a lot of rumour and misinformation out there, I figured it would be a good idea to have a page with facts on it for people to refer to. If you have any requests/ideas for information to go on that page, please let me know.
The facebook page is slowly growing, as is the twitter account. If you are on either of these social media platforms please consider adding Often Partisan as I try to not only put links to articles but other bits and pieces too. Twitter is the best place to catch me if you want to ask me a question.
I’d like to thank everyone who has read, commented and supported the website – it means a lot to me.

I’m a Blues ST holder and have recently discovered Often Partisan. I would like to congratulate you on what is in my opinion the best Blues blog out there. Your articles are well balanced and appear to concentrate on the facts rather than sensationalism. A lot of media outlets could learn a lot from this approach!
Do you have any pans to incorporate a message board / forum into OP as this could potentially drive a lot of traffic to your site? As your site appears WordPress based maybe you could easily incorporate something like bbPress.
Anyway keep up the good work and KRO.
Thanks
I have no plans to incorporate a forum into Often Partisan at all; I’d suggest smallheathalliance.com for all your forum needs
Glad to see you’re not going to introduce a forum on here. Most of the posts on forums are drivel and people get abusive. I very much enjoy your blogs which are always well researched. It would be great if you could get Peter Pannu to give you an interview but I can’t see it happening. He’s far too secretive to agree to that.
My best friend runs the biggest unofficial Blues forum (www.smallheathalliance.com) so I have no desire to compete with him.
Great website and blog – keep it up and keep right on!
A great site for all informed Bluenoses – Keep on right with the great work!
