Chinese Media: Further investment rumours
There has been talk of more investment on the way for BIH/BCFC on various forums, and tonight I picked this up from “Apple Daily”, in Hong Kong.
As is normally the way, it’s a bit difficult to pick out the translation, but the story is basically intimating that after taking over control of SMI publishing (and Carson’s newspaper Sing Pao), the mainland investors involved in that deal will turn their intentions on BIH.
I have to be honest, I find Apple Daily to be quite unreliable but it’s interesting that these rumours are beginning to surface with regularity now, and that the media in HK believes Carson is going to either get bailed out or bought out. Either way, I’ll continue to monitor and update as news comes in.
