Webber on Trial
As rumoured, it’s been revealed today that 30 year old Danny Webber is trialling with Blues. The striker, who has been without a club since leaving Portsmouth at the end of last season began his trial on Thursday.
Prior to arriving at Wast Hills, Webber has been training with the Manchester United reserves and was considered by Ally McCoist as an option at Rangers. There was also some speculation that Webber was being considered by Jim Magilton, who is manager of Australian A-League side Melbourne Victory.
It’s important to remember that whilst Webber is on trial with Blues it doesn’t mean he will definitely sign by any means. If there is any further news I will update the blog in due course.

Your link to Danny Webber goes somewhere really weird mate, unless I’ve missed something subtle…
Thanks for that… that’s what I get for not double and triple checking, and having a computer which fails to copy text sometimes.
Fixed now thank God

For ref for the rest of the world, the link went to a scanned page from a book about a psychiatric infertile woman who went to hospital because she’d shoved a chicken up her wotsit. I presume it’s not Danny Webber’s mom or something.
Watch out world the new folan/webber partnership will soon be in full effect!
