Blues lose in u19 Semifinal
with many thanks to Stuart Truslove
Blues were unlucky to lose 3-2 in the Sheik Hamdan u19 tournament semifinal in Dubai today.
Despite a Callum Thomson strike and an own goal, Blues were beaten by Al Shabab from Dubai and will now contest the third/fourth place match tomorrow against RC Lens, who they beat 4-2 in the group stages. Blues may feel that they should have won the match but too many chances in front of goal weren’t taken and Blues paid the price for their profligacy.
Tomorrow’s match takes place at 18:00 Dubai time at the Al-Maktoum stadium. The match is due to be screened on Dubai Sports TV and if I can locate a stream of it I will link it here.

This link appears to be the right channel and if the match is to come on it will come on at 3pm UK time I believe. Please be aware that you click that link at your own risk; it seems okay to me but I can’t be held responsible if it messes up your computer…
