Supporters Club Forum
Yesterday I was privileged to attend the latest of the Supporters Club Forums held between the club and the various Supporters Clubs at the training ground at Wast Hills.
The meetings have been held to deal with the day-to-day issues surrounding the running of the club; feeding back from the fans their thoughts on things like ticket pricing, the loos not working or merchandise in the shop.
Some of the key points noted were:
- Season ticket prices will be released in mid May, and will have an “early bird” offer for those who renew quickly. The 0% interest free direct debit scheme will also continue
- Pre-season friendlies are to be confirmed shortly; there will be a training camp with one game in continental Europe between July 16 and 21. The club is also looking to play Club Brugge at St Andrews and one other friendly at home.
- print at home ticketing now has no charge attached to it
- issues regarding BCFC.com being slow to load and the commentary starting late are to be raised with the providers.
- the club are looking to improve the family stand to incorporate an area for children to meet players not in action.
- the unused striped away shirt from this season will be next season’s 3rd kit
- the club are looking at ways to improve the atmosphere at the ground and the entry music will be reviewed during the close season
If you would like to read my full notes on it, you can click here.
I will also hopefully have some pics of the players training to share with you in the next day or two.

Almajir, Thanks for the notes of the meeting. Very interesting to read the Club’s responses to some of the issues raised by the fans. They gave honest answers and explained why certain things are as they are. Meeting with the supporters clubs is a very good forum for exchanging views and information.
Thanks for the full notes.
A very good read.
not much to report then?
Almajir. I am aware that this was not covered at the meeting, — but– can you confirmn that the accounts are due for publication soon,??.
Thanks in anticipation for your reply,!!.
Supposed to be out April 30
What is the point of a 3rd Kit….?
If the 1st and second kits clash with the oppositions the third kit is used which is rare but needed!
Thanks for your prompt response,!!. We await with bated breath, and just a little trepidation,!!.
As always, thanks for bringing the Blues news to us all. Much appreciated KRO
The more I think about this 3rd Kit nonesense…
Its not been worn apparently because CH does not like it..so has he changed his mind ?
& accordingly has already been discounted in the club shop.
The purpose of an away kit is to provide an effective alternative colour option should there be a clash.
Is this kit then fit for purpose as it has Blue Stripes within its design ?
So on what occasion could it be worn ?
So it’s all kind of business-as-normal? This doesn’t sound like a club about to go into financial free-fall.
Thanks for the updates almajir!
just a thought regarding the atmosphere couldnt they use the big screen with “keep right on” flashing up on it as a prompt to get the fans singing every now and then!
Thanks for the details, much appreciated.
