Huseklepp To Return To Norway?
The Norwegian press have reported that Blues striker, Erik Huseklepp, who is on loan from Portsmouth may return to Norwegian football in the close season.
Altenposten reported last week that the 27-year-old striker is likely to return to Brann in the summer from Portsmouth. Huseklepp’s partner gave birth to his daughter, Emma, in Norway last week and it’s thought that Erik wants to return to his native country to be with his family.
The report confirms Brann have spoken to the striker but there is nothing formal in place yet. Huseklepp is due to return to his parent club at the end of his loan and bearing in mind Portsmouth’s financial perils and relegation I think he will move on somewhere else in regardless.
With it also being in the news that Huseklepp has been dropped from the Norway squad for the upcoming friendlies against England and Croatia it may well be that Erik will return to the Tippeligaen to regain his place in the national team.
Erik has played eleven times for Blues, of which four have been starts, scoring twice.

It appears Erik hasn’t been dropped at all, as bcfc.com have confirmed he has been called up by the Norwegian national side.

The Lee Bradbury of 2012.
Erik has been v dissapointing. I think he has the skill to be decent, but every game he has played he has been poor. He was woeful at Brighton. Boynose, i think you are being harsh on Bradbury, at least he challenged for the ball and ran the channels well.
Like we wondered what McJudas saw in Michel that had him chasing him for so long CH stated EH was a player he admired for a long time. Is Erik the Viking the first opportunity to judge if CH can spot good players and thus spend money wisely? For me this the one unknown about CH.
