Barring any late changes, Andy Woolmer will be in the middle for Blues’ FA Cup Third Round replay against Leeds United at St Andrews on Tuesday. Here is a look at his stats.
Season Performance
Mr Woolmer has taken charge of twenty games this season, showing forty-nine yellow cards and three reds. Of those games only four have been at Championship level, and in those Mr Woolmer has handed out seven cautions.
Last Blues Game Refereed
It’s been nearly six years since Mr Woolmer last took charge of a Blues game. In February 2007, Mr Woolmer was in the middle for a 1-1 draw between Blues and Colchester United at Layer Road. On that day Mr Woolmer showed two yellow cards, to Matt Mills and Hogan Ephraim of the home side.
Last Championship Game Refereed
Mr Woolmer was last in charge of a game in the second tier in November, officiating in the 1-0 win by Nottingham Forest over Sheffield Wednesday at the City Ground on November 17. On that day Mr Woolmer only handed out one yellow card, to Miguel Llera of the Owls.
