More Announcements from BIH
It’s been a busy time for announcements for Birmingham International Holdings as they have made another three to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
It’s worth noting that these announcements are for regulatory purposes and as such are not worth worrying too much about. They confirm that the Year Ending June 2011 accounts will show a loss and that the interim accounts to December 2011 and Year Ending June 2012 accounts will show a profit.
As the vast majority (around 96%) of BIH’s business is BCFC, this is to be expected as BCFC showed a loss in 2011 and a profit in 2012.
The accounts are due to be discussed by the BIH board next Friday (March 15) and should then be published very shortly afterwards.

Either way Dan,.. Thanks for keeping us in the loop.
Almajir – we’re all looking for that “watershed” moment when we could see some progress on the takeover front. Whilst I don’t believe that we’ll be taken over by the summer, I’m certainly hopeful that we’ll have new owners by the time we kick-off the new season in August. But when the accounts are finally published – hopefully by the end of the month – that it will be significant to any potential buyers for us out there? As in, will the “talks” be a little easier because the figures are there for the viewing?
What’s the other 4%?
I understand that BIHL also holds Blue Noses Limited, Birmingham (China) Limited, Birmingham (China) Development Limited and Leader Ahead Investments Ltd. God knows what these do but maybe these make up the 4%.
Horsemeat….
At last,!!. Though as you said, B,i,H. are really all about B,C,F,C. [ exceot, this misterious 4% ] that mike queried, ??.
One presumes that as they are ” official figures ” for H,K,S,E. There should be NO hidden shocks after they are revealed, ??.
Almajir,
Once B.I.H release the accounts do you know if B.C.F.C will be sending us shareholders a copy of the accounts for 2011 and 2012?
If you have not received a copy of the accounts for BCFC and you are shareholder then I strongly suggest you contact the club and ask for them to do so post haste.
If you need any help on that front contact the Trust, they are willing to help on this front.
Well lets hope that there is just a beam of light at the end of this oriental tunnel
Now Children,,,,,are we all sitting comfortably,,,,,,Uncle Peter is going to read us all a new story,,,,,all about “Magic”,,,,how things can disappear,,,,,and Chinese [Financial ] Gnomes living in the Highlands of Hong Kong
Many thanks for your great work in keeping us informed on latest developments.
