Referee Watch – Graham Salisbury
Barring any late changes, Graham Salisbury of Lancashire will be in the middle for Blues’ Championship game against Ipswich Town at Portman Road today. Here is a look at his stats.
Season Performance
Mr Salisbury has taken charge of forty games so far this season, showing one hundred and twenty-five yellow cards and five reds. Of those games thirteen have been in the Championship and in those matches Mr Salisbury has handed out forty-three cautions and sent three players off.
Last Blues Game Refereed
The last match involving Blues reffed by Mr Salisbury was the 1-1 draw away to Huddersfield Town on January 12 of this year. In that game Mr Salisbury booked seven players – Anthony Gerrard, Adam Hammill and Alan Lee of Huddersfield along with Curtis Davies, Paul Robinson, Chris Burke and Jonathan Spector of Blues. Gregg Evans gave Mr Salisbury an 8 in his Birmingham Mail report, saying he was decisive and aware.
Last Championship Game Refereed
The last game in the Championship that Mr Salisbury took charge of was the 0-0 draw between Middlesbrough and Peterborough United at the Riverside on April 2.
