Referee Watch – Mark Brown
Barring any late changes, Mark Brown of East Yorkshire will be in the middle for Blues’ Championship game against Burnley at Turfmoor this evening. Here is a look at his stats.
Season Performance
Mr Brown has taken charge of five games so far this season, showing eight yellow cards and one red card, with today being his first Championship game of the season. Last season Mr Brown took charge of twenty-four games, giving out sixty-one cautions and sending off six players. The last game at this level that Mr Brown officiated in was the match between Huddersfield and Cardiff on February 9 of this year, which saw Mr Brown book Jack Hunt and Joel Lynch of Huddersfield and Andrew Taylor, Craig Bellamy and Ben Nugent of Cardiff.

Ref from Yorkshire, Burnley from Lancashire. Hopefully he has some ‘battle of the roses’ resentment towards the Lancastrian team. :-)
