Referee Watch – Keith Stroud
Barring any late changes, Keith Stroud of Hampshire will be in the middle for Blues’ Capital One Cup game against Swansea City this evening. Here is a look at his stats.
Season Performance
Mr Stroud has taken charge of six games this season, showing twenty-nine yellow cards and two red. Of those games, three were at Championship level and they yielded fifteen cautions and one sending off. Last season, Mr Stroud took charge of thirty-nine games, showing a massive one hundred and sixty yellow cards and ten reds.
Last Blues Game Refereed
The last game involving Blues that Mr Stroud was in charge of was the 2-0 defeat to Watford at Vicarage Road in August of last year. That game yielded one booking – Martin Taylor of Watford – and his performance merited no comment in my match report.
Suspension Watch
5 yellow cards – Paul Robinson (one match suspension served)
3 yellow cards – Neal Eardley and Dan Burn
2 yellow cards – Tom Adeyemi, Shane Ferguson and Jonathan Spector
1 yellow card – Darren Ambrose, Lee Novak, Koby Arthur, Wade Elliott, Kyle Bartley, Matt Green and Andrew Shinnie
The “cut-off” point where a fifth yellow card will no longer attract a suspension is after December 31 2013 and the point where a tenth yellow card will no longer attract a suspension is after April 13 2014.

I think you need to add Jesse Lingard to the list now after his Saturday celebration booking.
