OP Video Podcast – Delays and Trialists

It’s been a busy week – Dwight Tiendalli on trial with Blues, confirmed interest in Portuguese forward Nelson Oliveira and more delays in Hong Kong. I thought I’d sum them up in a nice little video for the weekend.

The announcement in full is here.

Key points for those who can’t watch right now:

  • The delays are down to the gigantic task this EGM represents – it’s nothing to worry about… yet
  • Nelson Oliveira – was the second striker I was referring to that we were looking at (James Wilson being the first)
  • Dwight Tiendalli? Can’t see it… but you never know.

  • Blue Eyed Boy says:

Yes a busy week particularly for a number of Championship clubs who have brought in some quality players(and that includes Leeds who are now up to 6 signings).Wolves new prospective owners have just sent their application into the FA today in regards to buying the club, and now we cant even compete to sign players from Walsall! Still GR doing his best for the travel industry by inviting “has been’s and ever hopefuls” for a trial..sorry free summer holiday in Marbella.
Lets hope we see some quality in comings quickly!

    • almajir says:

How many times… Bradshaw was deemed not good enough by Rowett, he wants BETTER….

    • Mitchell says:

Daniel. Bradshaw will probably end up at a Championship club and do well. It has it written all over it.GR may not want, rate him or whatever but to say he is looking for better suggests we have money to buy better. Forgive me,but your podcast about the current situation leaves a distinct feeling of quagmire imo. Nothing clear, murkier by the month and owners ‘somewhere in the Caymans’ is not very encouraging. Again my opinion but the outlook looks awful at present with little to encourage as regards quality of players coming in. Richardson,Tiendalli and the like must confirm the bookies odds on our demise if we take on these type of players.

      • almajir says:

        Mitchell

For one, I think you need to watch again and try listening. BIH is a CAYMAN ISLAND company, hence it’s being dealt with in their courts too. Nothing to do with where TTA are based etc.

For two I repeat – Rowett didn’t want Bradshaw. I’d take his opinion over yours. I also think Nelson Oliveira is likely to be better than Bradshaw.

For three it’s just possible Tiendalli and Richardson are only the start – we are definitely looking at others too…

In other words, rather than look for reasons to be miserable, try being cheery instead.

        • jonno11blue says:

Dan I’m sorry as stated other clubs have signed 4/5 players even Villa have announced a 3rd signing, continual excuses by Rowett “are well we are still looking at players” are not good enough. To be linked with names like Kieren Richardson is a disgrace. Question marks were asked last year about his ability in the transfer market, if you add to that the teams form in 2016 and Rowetts failure to give some of the younger players a chance at the tail end of last season I’m beginning to question his managerial abilty

      • ZR says:

Bradshaw is no good for us ,he goes missing for large chunks of the game.

      • steve says:

Mitchell. When does the transfer window close ? GR has already said that there wouldn’t be a lot of early activity. I think some need to realise that we haven’t been bought by multi millionaire saudis. Until the takeover is completed there won’t be a lot of money available.

        • AndyW says:

I agree Steve. I think that any thoughts of us being big spenders are naïve. Yes the Carson era is well and truly over, but there is still much to be done in terms of putting the club on the footing it needs to truly progress. We all have opinions of who we should be buying, and they are never all going to agree. The fact is, it’s not our decision. What the manager and the team needs now is for us all to just get behind them? The outlook is getting brighter and we have managed to avoid the dreaded drop down to the lower leagues. We have to have ambition obviously, but we are not in a financial position to compete in terms of signings. Last season and the Euro 2016 tournament surely should have shown that a proper team ethic is capable of great things…..it’s not all about how much you cost?

  • Bluesfan says:

More like he’s got no money to buy Bradshaw it’s going to be another season of loans and freebies and Rowett needs his head looking at if he wants Richardson he’s total rubbish. All this hold up of the sale is crazy too it’s going to ruin another season IMO.

  • Pods says:

I can see us missing out quality players , I hear S Aluko has signed for Fulham.
Leeds are pressing ahead with recruits.
    T Bradshaw?
    Who are we looking at
I”m getting worried we will not sign a quality forward or two with proven goal scoring record, we are desperate for a forward.

  • BhamCityJulian says:

Nelson Oliveira? Didn’t he play cricket for Worcs and England?

  • Hillfield Blues says:

Thanks Dan.If I were TTA I would be asking GR to carry on doing exactly what he is doing.Keep us in contention to Xmas and we’ll see what we can do in the January window. If we’d have had a serious injection of cash at that stage this season we may well have got into the playoffs.

  • zxcv says:

Don`t worry lads David Moyers will be able to get the players sorted out that he wants and as long as we get Hong Kong sorted out by November then Mr Moyers will be ready to act straight away when the window opens………. Well we can all dream.

  • John Marbella says:

To be fair Tiendalli hasn’t done badly at all and if you take into account that he hasn’t played a competitive game for over a year he did quite well. Played the first half at left back and at right back the second half today.

  • nicko says:

Daniel is completely right Gary does not fancy Bradshaw he did not want aluko lets see if he gets the two players he really wants

    • StaffsBlue says:

I think fans have to accept that Rowett isn’t going to buy players just because the fans like them. He’ll bring in whoever he thinks will fit his system the best. Same as any manager tbf.

  • Bluesfan says:

Gary Rowett is never going to get the players he wants with these people in charge you are all deluded if you think he will and there is no way we will make it to the playoffs. Though I’m glad he is in charge just to keep us in the championship but I think it’s only a matter of time before he gets fed with the problems at blues and leaves because he’s constantly being held back.

  • Deb P says:

Dan I really don’t know how you have so much patience with these people ( so called fans) they annoy me & I don’t put all the hard work in that you do. They can’t even be bothered to read exactly what you write !
    You are a saint!

  • Jim the hat says:

Id take Nelson Oliveira over Bradshaw got championship experience also would be suited to our style of play and at 24 I think he still represents better value for money.just hope GR manages to pull of other signings he’s in for.

  • StaffsBlue says:

BIH is a Cayman island company… Trillion Trophy Asia is a British Virgin Islands company. When the takeover goes through, do we then become a BVI company, or do we remain a CI co? Daft question probably, but, humour me, I haven’t a clue how these things work.

    • swissjonny says:

Staffs I would imagine that they would ring fence the Club in a special purpose vehicle with no nasty history so that when they come to sell it the new purchasers due diligence is straightforward and problem free. The special purpose vehicle may well be owned by trillion through BVI. BVI companies are very cost effective and do not require expensive audits !! Before they can do this they need to stick another business into the BIH listed shell. I suspect that they will do this during the next two years then move the Club into the SPV and sell it. They will then relist whatever the HK PLC in the BIH shell is. This will be relisted in China-which is the latest game in HK. Companies relisted in this way have made boat loads for those behind the switch. This technique has come to the attention of the HK authourities but as yet they have done nothing to hinder or stop this activity. Just my theory!!!

  • Waycoolblue says:

Richardson is a crap player. And he is no left back IMO. We would be better off playing my Mom at left back and she is 68 lol

Nelson Oliveira with the right manager and in the right team witch I think blues are he would be better than Bradshaw. He two is 24 but played at much higher levels than Bradshaw and he is a lot stronger. I Do like Bradshaw but would not take him over Oliveira. PS paid for my season ticket today because I feel a good season Coming.

  • Mitchell says:

Bradshaw gets a lot of stick on this site with Daniel continuing to remind us that GR can get a better player. Same goes for comments regarding Aluko. Imo unfair cutting comments that will probably come back to haunt us. Bradshaw will end up with a good Championship club and develope with someone like a Gary Monk at Leeds. Annoying as it obviously is to Daniel, there are bloggers who actual rate Bradshaw-so please Daniel don’t get irritated by us by responding with ‘How many more times’etc..During the last week or so if we had signed Bradshaw then many of us would have felt more excitement than the players already brought in.

    • StaffsBlue says:

I’ve not been too impressed with any of the names we’ve been linked with so far, but if Bradshaw and Aluko are deemed not good enough by the manager, then the player he does bring in is going to have to be fecking quality… or Rowett’s judgement is going to look a bit moody. Just sayin’ loike. :)

  • Dave Mann says:

We wait with baited breath staffs … For me it’s more the formation he uses on a regular basis as well as the players we get in that intrigues me this coming season , will we have the players to be flexible and mix it up a bit or will Rowett stick to his rigid 4-2-3-1 formation .. I hope not and at home like most fans on here I would like to see two out and out strikers and go 4-4-2 but Mr Rowett needs convincing on that system because we haven’t got the midfield to carry it off apparently! .. August 6th will tell us what we need to know and what we need to do ! KRO

    • Mitchell says:

Dave. GR dare not play just one up at home from now on. Totally agree about formation-that is the key. No good having the players and not getting the best out of them. God knows how many players he has brought in and gone and we haven’t seen enough to make a judgement.Striking area is his problem and to feel Aluko and Bradshaw are not quality enough backs up Staffs view that we must be in for a real treat!

    • StaffsBlue says:

Apparently, they tried out a 4-4-2 diamond formation in the ‘friendly’ yesterday. At least they’re looking at different options it seems.

  • All we have heard of is talk ,. The supposed players of interest have had no bids put to them by the club , if we was really interested in them we would have gone all out to get them . Unless GR wants to know what the fans think before risking putting his job on the line , whatever , what i do know is this dilly dallying about is demeaning to the club to suggest that a lot smaller clubs are out bidding blues for players is not good for the future of the club ….slippery slope and all that , we should have got players in right from the start of the window not wait for the food bank crowds to die down before we show our faces or that’s the way it seems to me …He who dares wins . Get your asses out there blues and sign the players needed to reach January close to the top six so that the £10 million can be used to best affect to push us over the Line …..KRO

  • Kingstanding Maximums says:

Almajir, you keep saying Gary can and wants better than the likes of Bradshaw and Aluko. Where’s the proof that he can pick and accomodate better options than we have. Brock – Madsen? Hardly played Vaughan, never give Thomas a fair chance. He will play Donaldson if he had one leg, the team is picked from Donaldson backwards.I honestly believe GR could not manage a decent forward or two, there is always an excuse when better attacking options are mentioned. I take into account the very very very tedious off field matters but I and many other experienced fans of our club can see through the excuses. KRO

  • williammorgan says:

    Thirded

  • Marky mark says:

    Doom and gloom everywhere !!

How about we wait and see who he brings in and then complain about it ? we do know GR has more funds to play with and his hands are not so tied. Fans can be so fickle, GR was the messiah not so long ago.

    Patience my dear bluenoses.

  • Kingstanding Maximums says:

Just pointing out the facts Marky Mark. You can not hide from the facts regardless of different viewpoints. I for one am not a fickle fan, just a realist. After 38 years of following home and away there’s only so much rubbish you can listen to or read. KRO.

  • Blue Eyed Boy says:

Well said Kingstanding Maximums. We experienced fans do see through excuses.
So Daniel, we look forward to seeing these “better players” than quoted by others coming thro shortly then???

  • Bluey says:

I think some fans need to take a deep breath and look at the facts. GR has his hands tied financially and on the budget he`s got it is very difficult to bring the quality we need. Even when TTA takeover he`s going to get just £10m which includes wages. This is a pittance in football terms and very unlikely to aid a promotion tilt. And as they`re going to be around for 2 years we can effectively write off the next 2 seasons because there will be no pot of gold.A few weeks ago i said i was disappointed that an investment group like TTA were taking over and would have preferred owners who were looking to forward the club and not be striving for a quick profit.Despite being panned by most repliers to my post i stand by it.

    • Hillfield Blues says:

Well said Bluey.I think that TTA s involvement might have been a requirement because of their relationship with E&Y and their expertise in restructuring distressed companies.I don’t get the feeling that anybody else worth their salt would have touched us otherwise.

    • jonno11blue says:

Yes I agree with what you said about new owners. The problem is that on this score you have to blame Ernest and Young. It was quoted there were 6/7 parties interested but they picked TTA ,likely because they were prepared to support BIH instead of just wanting to purchase Birmingham City FC.

  • Dave Mann says:

I will take a deep breath Bluey and agree with you . KRO

  • Marky mark says:

Your wasting your time Bluey, some fans need a reality check. moan moan moan.

GR has had a peanuts to work with, Morrison, Tesche, Fabrini, Maghoma,Kieftenbeld etc etc all great signings under the circumstances, all managers make bad signings from time to time.

I agree with everything you said Bluey regards the takeover

  • Blue Eyed Boy says:

    Fully agree “Bluey”

  • teejay says:

i have lived in wales for 12 years supported blues since 1963 have followed blues everywhere till I came here reduced to commentaries on the site, but have spread the gospel of stans here in n wales every day, I took 2 guys to stans last year for the Bolton game not a great match and very quiet which was heart breaking but I converted these guys to blues, they loved it I was in a mind to get a season ticket again this year but we seem to be doing exactly the same as the last few years speculation about players but never doing anything it is a crying shame for our club and the best supporters ever when clubs like rotheram Brentford Fulham clubs that could not lick our boots can outbid us or take players it hurts like mad I pray for a miracle to happen but so many false dawns aaaaahhhhhh K R O

    • Hillfield Blues says:

Times have been hard over the last 5 years for sure but things are starting to look up and we’ve got rid of Carsen at last.New owners coming in and actually some money to spend has given most fans some optimism and there’s some light at the end of the tunnel at last.I could have understood your post a couple of years ago but I don’t now.We are 100 times better off now than what we have been over the last 5 years so why are you so gloomy.
Also how do you know we have been outbid for players by the clubs you mention.

  • Kingstanding Maximums says:

The reality check needed is that we have needed a change up front for a long time. I have in the past praised some of GR signings, but the fact remains regardless of the funds that he has a deficiency in his managerial skills in his approach to our striking position/ positions. Lets not forget some of you that GR spent the best part of a million on Brock- Madsen at a time when our finances were a lot less healthier than what they are now. The re- signing of Zigic still had to be paid a wage. We was crying out for help up front last season when we was hovering around the top 6 what happens. GR spends 1.5 million on Fabbrini when did we really need him at that time. Not exactly peanuts 1.5 million is it. I know were that 1.5 mill would of been better spent. Then he leaves it till mid March to get Lafferty. Then hardly plays him. I hope that I am wrong but I honestly feel that we will go into the new season with the same old same old up front, and that includes formation. Fact folks fact. KRO.

  • Dave Mann says:

As I said before I absolutely agree .. Propably Donaldson up front on his own with three behind him .. zzzzzzz.. no change there then . KRO

  • Hillfield Blues says:

Far to much doom and gloom again for me.
Everybody knows Brock -Madsen wasn’t a good signing and it was a gamble that didn’t pay off but to keep banging on about it is just boring.Every manager in the country signs duds every year and that was ours unfortunately, let’s move on.
The bottom line is that the sort of market GR has been forced to shop in he isn’t going to get a good percentage of success and don’t talk to me about loans-about 1 in 15 actually come off.
Let’s look to a brighter future and make judgements on players and formations when our business has been done, instead of dwelling on all the negatives.

    • StaffsBlue says:

Although he hasn’t shown up so far, I think we should hold fire a little longer on Brock-Madsen. After coming to a country and league that’s unfamiliar to him, he’s had a year to aclimatise now. He’s just scored 3 in 3 for the Denmark team, is going to the Olympics and, according to reports, has looked quite sharp over in Marbella. I think he deserves another chance.

    • Mitchell says:

It is only doom and gloom when statements about Aluko and Bradshaw are not good enough and GR looking at better players. This is an indication that we have money to buy better. Maximums and Blue Eyed Boy both make good points and the facts cannot lie that GR spends money on high wage earners such as Buckley,Lafferty etc . Agree with you that BM was a one off but when you add Vaughan to the list and the return of goals scored-it is hard to defend his woeful expertise in the area that lets us down so badly-goals.

      • Hillfield Blues says:

It might just be that Bradshaw and Aluko are not good enough Mitchell.Looking at the pedigree of the Portuguese kid he looks a safer bet than Bradshaw for a start.Buckley and Lafferty weren’t signings but loans that didn’t work so harsh to judge GR on that basis and Vaughan was kicking around in the Huddersfield reserves when we needed some cover so we took him on but hardly a signing I would like to be judged upon if I was a manager in our position.Your opinions seem to be based on a manager that’s just blown 10 million on rubbish and not on the beg, steal and borrowing that GR has had to do.

  • Littleblue says:

Why are people moaning about Gary Rowett he can only work with the tools he is given its just the way it is at the moment. Judge him when he has more money to spend. And I for one am glad we ain’t got aluko and hope we don’t like you say Daniel get Bradshaw because hopefully we will get but I suppose finances dictate I’m not saying Gary is the best manager ever but I will say it again remember the Clark days. We just have to be patient a little longer I for one don’t mind as long as we get the players Rowett wants and then I’m sure we will progress. In Rowett I trust. Kro

  • blues mad says:

Have you all forgotten the great escape at Bolton.give Gary some credit we should not be criticising new players even before they arrive.have patience we will be in premier in two years
    II

    • StaffsBlue says:

At the end of the day, it’s Rowett’s signings that will either fire up, or quench enthusiasm for the new season. I’m more than willing to wait and see who he brings in… but, with fans becoming impatient (which is only natural) they’re going to have to be something special to impress.

      • Hillfield Blues says:

Agree but there is that financial element with regards to who he can afford to sign and how much money he actually has to throw at deals.Nobody really knows where we are or who we have the capabilities to sign at this point. Our first 2 signings were predictable but the next one will tell us what sort of market we are in I think.

  • Dave Mann says:

How can they be new players if they haven’t arrived ? … Sort of know what you mean but patience is not one of my virtues and another two years wasted in the championship doesent fill me with excitement to be honest . KRO

  • oldburyblue says:

Am I missing something? Has anyone proof that we have been out-bid for any player? You cannot be out-bid until you make an offer. Just because I browse in a shop doesn’t mean that I will necessarily buy something from there. If another shop has exactly what I want, at the price I want to pay, I’ll buy from there.

  • Dave Mann says:

I don’t think anybody as said we’ve been out bid for a player have they ? … Well not on this site to my knowledge but if they have then let’s know where you got that Information from .. Shopping bores me to tears by the way . KRO

    • StaffsBlue says:

Shopping is a woman ting. :) I buy everything I want online. You won’t catch me anywhere near a shop… only under extreme sufferance lol.

    • oldburyblue says:

May I draw your attention to the 1st comment and also those at 0940 & 1146 which all refer to being outbid. I also do most of my personal shopping online but am from the old school in liking to see and touch before I buy things like electrical items from Currys or when buying clothes when I prefer to try on. Either way I enjoy looking for a bargain. If some think that is a woman thing, so be it. My shoulders are broad enough to be called a 6’3″ 18 stone woman!!

  • Dave Mann says:

Same here absolutely … Having spent a lot of my early working life in a shop it’s the last place I want to be on know .. Unless it’s the Blues shop topping up my adidas collection . KRO

  • The problem is the length of time it takes to sign a player in the summer window , it is putting to much pressure on fans , managers , owners and players and their families , if I went to an antique auction and was told we will let you know in 2 or 3 months if you have the winning bid I would tell them to shove it .I know we are talking about people’s lives but surely if you let your contract run out you have some idea of what you are after and the areas that you and your family would be willing to live or not live before hand…KRO

    • Hillfield Blues says:

William,I don’t think signing a player is as cut and dried as you think and it certainly isn’t a case of striking early to beat the rush.If a player and his agent become available their remit is to hold out for the best deal possible and try to encourage an auction type situation between clubs for the best contract on offer.Sometimes clubs with funds can cut to the chase and give players/agents what they want to secure a deal but Blues certainly don’t fall into that bracket at the moment. This is why our signings are taking time because Blues are in a clutch of clubs vying for the same player who is waiting to see which contract is the best one on offer.

    • Texas Pete says:

The pressure is on the fans? Thats the best piece of logic I have seen in these comments so far. Yeah we have no money but we should be doing better in our pre season results.
Dan, Thanks for your patience in not responding to all the self flagellating morons.

  • Dan Hickman says:

We have never been great in the summer, Bruce managed a few but I remember christian poutsen, mark Burchill and many others slipping through the net years ago. The Prem years were easier but we are a different club now with less money, less prospects and increasingly bitter fans. Agree with Staffs about Brock, the goals are the same size in Denmark, its everything else he needs to get used to, give him another chance. Donaldson a year older and keen to push with long distance international career means we can’t really tely on him on his own or part of a pair for 50 odd games . GR Im sure is aware of this. If we have the same squad end of the month then I will criticise the club management (including Rowett) but until then I will just be patient!

  • swissjonny says:

Burchill or was it Birchill. Dont care but should have signed him. Mauro Zarrati-or however -should have signed him too. Stay cool lads mid table for two years then maybe some real cash. We are much better here than under Weldon or Kumars. Believe me some Championship sides are going to splash the cash and not reach the promised land. This year is about rebuilding and let the hero teams fizzzle out into administration and obscurity.

  • StaffsBlue says:

I think we all have to accept that there’s going to be a transitional period between the old and the new owners. Whether the new owners can make a huge difference this season, we’ll have to wait and see. I think another top 10 finish wouldn’t be a disaster.

    • Hillfield Blues says:

Agree.Accepting mediocrity doesn’t come easy to a football fan but in our case we will take it with both hands. We just have to be thankful of the fact that Carsen is now gone and at least now there is hope when before there was none.

      • StaffsBlue says:

Top 10 could mean 9th, 8th, 7th. I’d take any of those at this present time. Without decent investment, anything above those places is probably out of our reach.

        • Hillfield Blues says:

I think if you look back at last season we did very well with that squad albeit the poor run in.Anything like a repeat and with some investment in January and it could be interesting but as you say it is wishful thinking.Reality strikes but if you don’t believe there’s no point in turning up sometimes.

          • Hillfield Blues says:

            Bites

          • StaffsBlue says:

I don’t think we’re that far from being a very good team. The right investment in the right areas of the team and I think we’ll do well. As a lot of fans have said though, it’s the waiting that’s the hard bit.

  • williammorgan says:

I would be happy at this time of instead of spending money for three players that might be OK , to spend their wages on one good striker , as the players we’ve got have already proved last season that they can go for it , then in january we have £10 million to spend on the cavalry …

  • jazzzy786 says:

Who wrote the subtitles for your video the words on screen don’t match what you’re saying.

  • BhamCityJulian says:

    Here’s my thoughts:

1/ TTA are convinced on GR spending wisely after wasting January’s funds and therefore Chester’s come in. If it was at GR’s request he’d be gushing at his arrival. I don’t hear that.

2/ TTA will have the view that the three relegated teams will finish in the top six. Thus there is too much competition for the remaining places, so we should have half a mind to be planning for 2017/18.

3/ IMO GR has proved his he is a good man manager and tactically able. However are Summerfield and Sale sufficiently able at this level, particularly for the better standard of players we are looking to attract. Should he be looking at coaches which higher levels of skills and knowledge eg Premier League badges eg Richard Beale?

    • swissjonny says:

Julian. Points one and two are bang on.I agree that GR seems to be a good motivator and as you say man manager.Tacticaly I think he is a little naive and lacking in experience.

      • BhamCityJulian says:

Swissjonny – think his tactics are limited by what he sees as the limitation in the squad together with defenders traits of caution. Nonetheless do you think upgrading one of his coaches could give an improvement?

  • Mitchell says:

Steve. When did I write that about judgements? Have you got the right person?

  • oldburyblue says:

Just stirring the pot….but it s clear that some commentators not only don’t read other’s comments, they don’t read their own!!

    • Mitchell says:

Spot on Oldbury Blue.My excuse is blaming my late father. First game he took me to see Bertie Auld knock out Maurice Cook and Johnny Haynes of Fulham. Proper sending off that was-not two silly yellows as we see today. Qualified bluenoses are all a bit barmy and I put it down to our parents who inflicted years and decades of Saturday night heartbreaks with some joyous ones thrown in. However,Saturday’s are magic and we don’t envy anyone who is not a blues fan. Win,draw or lose we come back for more -again I blame my late dad!

      • oldburyblue says:

Que?? I agree most of us MUST be a bit barmy choosing the Blues to support and I suspect most of us have our fathers to “blame” or certainly in my case “thank” for our lifetime addiction. However, what has that got to do with reading other people’s views before writing your own…..and knowing what you are saying and what you have said?

        • Mitchell says:

Well, light relief at times is useful. Let’s see your comments in the future and analyse in depth. Perhaps just maybe we will find a few flaws. Keep cheerful.

        • steve says:

          I can’t blame my family Oldbury,they’re all Vilers :)

          • oldburyblue says:

My sympathies Steve but glad to know at least you have sense! (For anyone who does not recognise it, that is banter, not libel!!).

        • Mitchell says:

Piece of friendly advice Oldbury regarding your comments of yesterday afternoon concerning the Williams’ sisters.Suggest you retract these derogatory and daflammatory comments which are liable. Amazed that Daniel has been lenient as if it were my site I would have been worried.Best to read through your comments before posting.

Twang!! Did you hear that nerve being hit? We used to have an expression….”60, 60, 60, ONE HUNDRED & EIGHTY!! when we hit our target and got a reaction like that. I was having banter with others with a sense of humour. ps. Do you mean libel? Liable means something else. Just a bit of friendly advice to spell-check or invest in a dictionary before posting, you understand. I know Daniel does not like things getting personal, so I’ll try to stop now.

He will thank you in years to come I guarantee it Hillfield .. My son was about the same age when I took him and he’s not only hooked on Blues he lives for Blues just like is dad and is mother and he wouldn’t have it any other way .. It takes us all over the country and we have a great time doing it and hopefully you and your son will have as great time supporting the Blues as we do . KRO

If some of you people on here can’t see that Gary rowett plays the formations that suit the players he has at his disposal then get yourself down to specsavers. While I’m not saying he gets everything right the budget he has to work with defines the quality he can buy so why don’t we believe in him and get behind him!!! Also do you not realise with a tight budget plus the euros signings take time. Kro

Don’t know what to make of GRs comment that he may keep Vaughan , perhaps other strikers don’t like the one striker system , surely we haven’t run out of striker targets already .KRO

Nice one littleblue, we should just let G.R get on with it as best he can under the circumstances
