Trialist News
News broke of one of the four trialists to play in the reserve win over Shamrock Rovers on Wednesday, as James Nursey named one of the strikers to play as Julian Cardellino of Club Atletico Kimberley of Argentina.
Cardellino, 18, who plays in the Torneo Argentino C (fifth tier) was described as raw by Nursey. As you can imagine with a youth player at such an obscure club there isn’t much online about him – I’ve found he was up for an award here and that his team were promoted from the sixth tier at the end of last year here.
There is no guarantee that Blues will sign him or take his trial any further at the moment.
Update 15:00 10 February
You can judge him for yourself thanks to Hiro from smallheathalliance

Im not sure if its a great time to be(potentially)signing Argentinians.
Didn’t Ardiles and Villa (sorry) play at Spuds during the previous conflict?
Yup
no! ossie was shipped off to paris st germain…
I checked that one out, your right mickey07,he was shifted there on loan due to the outbreak of war.
thats right mickey.he went to paris on loan was that you on ccmb?i go on ccfurum
That was well before 1982 Ex Pat,,,,,they played for the Spuds at the same time as we had “Alberto Tatantini”,,,,,,1970 era
And we had Tarrantini
Nah, tarantini played for us four years before the falklands
nearly right about 12 years before the Falklands
Just checked myself,,,,,I stand corrected,,,,,1978 when Alberto played for Blues
Ossie played for spurs until ’88, Villa about ’83 I think

Mauro Zarate – What a joy to watch he was…..
& if we are too believe Sullivan & Gold , Maradona was very close to wearing the Royal Blue .
but then again who didn;t they nearly sign…. ?
Any more suggestions ?
I’d be surpris if their goalie was under 17 (see clip)!
