BIH News
Birmingham International Holdings have made an announcement to the Hong Kong stock exchange that publication of the Interim Results for the six months ending 31 December 2011 are to be delayed until 31 May 2012.
The announcement should come as no surprise bearing in mind that last year’s results haven’t come out yet and have been delayed until April 30 2012. It’s worth reiterating that the delay of these interim results has no bearing on the delay of last year’s results and the two should not be confused.

I’m by no means one of the doom and gloom brigade when it comes to the board, but why do they appear so unable/unwilling to present such elementary figures?
In this case KJ because you can’t publish results from a new year when you haven’t already done the old year.
But my point still stands regarding the initial set. They’ve taken more time than most companies do, you could understand a month’s extension – but pushing yet another period back because of it?
It’s just ludicrous.
KJ do you think it is just possible that they have something to hide?
Honestly? I have no idea. We could speculate until the cows come home, but it’d be just that – speculation. We have to have some faith in them, to some degree, as they’ve run businesses before and should know the ropes by now.
However, they do seem to be dragging their feet an awful lot. The initial set of account reports should have been submitted quite a while ago….
Very well KJ we will just have to agree to differ. I would say you are gullible to trust these people in the light of the known facts but you would probably say that I am cynical. Anyway, I promise not to tell you ‘I told you so’ if my suspicions prove to be correct. I would certainly be very happy if your trust is proved to be valid.
The Board are waiting. Waiting to see if we are in the frame for automatic promotion or the play-offs. My theory is that If we can’t make the automatic spots and we are more than 10 points ahead of 7th place, expect us to enter administration then. Take the hit on points and still retain a play-off spot.
Then, while nobody’s looking, Zigic will score another 4 goals (each a left footed back heel from the halfway line) in the playoff final. We’ll all then dance gayly (sorry), holding hands, merrily singing “If you go down to the woods today…” into the premiership.
Whatever you’re on, I’ll have some.
Anyone else see that programme a while back, how to buy a football club? Bryan Robson was part of a dodgy set up. Well that is what has happened at Blues.
