It is believed a bid has gone in from Notts County for striker Tyrell Waite, who impressed whilst on trial at Blues earlier this year. Blues had asked Ilkeston for permission for the striker to train for another week with the club but the Derbyshire based club refused.

Waite, who signed a new deal with Ilkeston less than three weeks ago is apparently on trial at the Meadow Lane club and now it is down to Ilkeston if they accept the deal or not. It is alleged that the offer is for an initial loan before a permanent deal in the summer.

Birmingham City cannot register new players at the moment as they under a transfer embargo due to their late filing of accounts.
