Football without Fans…

I’ve been watching with interest what has happened up at Liverpool with the protests held by the Spirit of Shankly group against ticket price increases. Fans are claiming victory after the Liverpool board have confirmed prices will now be frozen for the next two years.

Cash Rules Everything Around Us

Figures released yesterday show the influence money has in the top flight; Cardiff City, who finished bottom of the 2013/14 Premier League earned more money from TV rights and merit payments than Manchester United did as Champions in the 2012/13 season.
