Blues Development Squad in Scrappy Draw With Lions
Blues Development squad played out a tough 2-2 draw in a scrappy Professional Development League encounter against Millwall this evening. First half goals from Charlie Cooper and Corey O’Keeffe weren’t enough to secure the points against a Millwall side that came back with second half efforts from Harry Smith and Paul Rooney.

Attacking Intent
Birmingham City inflicted Fulham’s first league defeat of the season yesterday at Craven Cottage. Clayton Donaldson’s second half penalty was the only goal of the game but Blues could and should have scored more in what was a good display of attacking intent.

Positive Intent from Paul Caddis
It must be hard to be a player who has been completely bombed from a football squad. I know people will talk about how they wouldn’t mind sitting on their backside for a few thousand quid a week but I can’t help but feel that I’d think my life was wasting away in front of me in that position.

BIH Announcement: Takeover date brought forward
Birmingham International Holdings today made an announcement to the stock exchange confirming that the schedule for the takeover has been revised and the resumption in trading of shares in the company should take place on October 17.

Positive September
Birmingham City completed their summer business on transfer window deadline day with the loan signings of Lukas Jutkiewicz and Rhoys Wiggins from Burnley and Bournemouth respectively, while Nicolai Brock-Madsen left on a season long loan to PEC Zwolle, who play in the Eredivisie in the Netherlands.

Birmingham City take on Norwich City today looking to kill a run of eight straight league home games without a win stretching back to March. Norwich however come in on the high of a 6-1 thrashing of Coventry in the League Cup in midweek.
