BIH: Interim Accounts and Takeover Update Due Soon
As the end of February draws closer, there will be a little bit of news coming from Hong Kong with respect to the holding company.
BIH have already announced to the Stock Exchange that they are holding a board meeting on Friday to approve the interim results for the six month period ending December 2015, which are due on Monday. While these accounts are unaudited it should give us some further scope as to how much money Trillion Trophy Asia have put into BIH and potentially how much is to come.
Time to come back; it was good & productive (as always) to be in HK! Out here, rest assured, we all care about @BCFC. #planningahead #KRO
— Panos Pavlakis (@PanosInAsia) February 19, 2016
Panos Pavlakis tweeted on Friday that he was returning to the UK from the Far East, where no doubt he will have met with Ernst and Young along with TTA to discuss funding for the remainder of the season and beyond.
There is due to be a further announcement to the stock exchange by the end of the month with respect to the takeover – is it possible that we will hear some more news this time? I remain unconvinced myself – as I said in my video piece on Monday I’ve heard rumours that the authorities along with Carson have continued to muddy the waters and complicate the process required to get the holding company relisted and the takeover process on track.
For those who are interested what is happening with regards to ownership and the court cases, I have spent the last week trying to update the factfiles on this site here and here – thanks in no small part to the assistance of Blues Trust on working out who owns what shares – and I’m going to be continuing to work on them over the next few weeks.

Thanks again for the update let’s see how much Tt have put up but again we must be on our guard and trust yes I said trust the F A on looking at what’s going on just look at Bolton
Nice bit of news again OP I don’t think we will ever get rid of CY and his cronies we are stuck with them for good by the looks of things he is never going to get his claws out of the club.
I think you`re right certainly in the short to medium term.
Keep up the good work. We cant let improvements on the pitch dilute the pressure for change. When this is all over they’ll be a small number of heroes and the drinks will be on the rest of us.
I think panos is working hard behind the scenes my worry is cy coming back and getting rid of him
I agree with rhees, panos had stupid against CY & PP and will be the first through the door when he returns
How do you work that out?
Brummiepsul that’s more of a worry to me than rowett leaving.
Panos bought rowett in created finances where we are today is largely down to panos in my opinion.
Should say stood not stupid, damn predictive txt and damn me not proof reading it
I hope Birmingham the city recognise all this work as a figurehead of sportsmanship DAN , I also feel the club should give you some recognition , afterwards , if not the fans , in the past we have always known things that come out of Hong Kong are cheap , nothing changes .
Dan
Regarding the the shares being suspended all that time ago due to pannus outburst I think?? Do you think pannu knew what he was doing regarding his outburst as he knew it wouldn’t go down well with the hkse and it stood a good chance the shares would be suspended as we all know the man is poison…
No, I don’t think he knew what he was doing. I know for a fact he’d already said the same things to someone else but had done it in a private arena where he couldn’t be busted. I think he got wound up and posted it without thinking… especially bearing in mind his third post was a direct threat (which was reported to the HK police).
OK thanks thought I’d ask anyway
Dan can you please try and answer a question if e and y were court appointed and Carson got cleared can he remove e and y as chairman of this company or do they have to be removed by a court
As I’ve said before… EY were court appointed and as such have to be removed by a court. Carson has ALREADY tried to do this and failed last year – as covered extensively on this blog.
Whether that precludes him trying again… not so sure.
As CY is the highest share holder in BIH i’m surprised that we haven’t had any sort of statement from him, it would be nice to know what plans, if any, he has for BCFC, I know his main priority is proving his innocense, but does he not have a duty to BCFC too?. Or does it complicate his position with what’s going on with E&Y and TTA?.
Chris
He can’t have any plans for BCFC right now cos he has no control…
Oh I see, thanks Dan. This whole situation is so confusing at times
It seems there is a bit of a rift between the Hong Kong team and the mainland China team , after Hong Kong fans boo’d the Chinese anthem ,
That would echo the major rift between HK and China…
Freddie Goodwin RIP. Fondest memory at Leyton Orient in 1972. Had to win or Millwall would take the promotion spot. Tense game with Millwall fans threatening to charge the pitch should we score. Latchford did. They appeared like a scene from Zulu. We waited hoping ref would not abandoned the game. He didn’t. On the return home thousands of Blue and White scarves hanging out of cars all the way up the M1. That sight was better than the Taj Mahal, and Freddie Goodwin and Clifford Coombes were Giants among men with not a far eastern human anywhere near.
Mitchel I remember the night very well it was terrifying, as it always was at that dump, seemed like every time we went there was a riot. Freddie Goodwin was a much underrated manager He liked to play attacking football and he had the players to do it.
I just wonder IF CY is successful in his appeal, whether or not the HK courts would still think, in light of misappropriation of funds, shambolic running of the company and accusations of shareholders working in concert, that receivership and the planned sale of the company would still be in the best interest of the shareholders? Surely a savvy experienced company like E & Y would make a compelling case for it at least?
That has to be our hope, but the misdemeanours aren’t proven so I’d expect the case to be adjourned until the outcome is of them is known, wouldn’t it?
Do TTA have any shares in BIH or The Blues? If not why are they providing us with funding? You don`t get something for nothing.
No news for Interim Accounts and Takeover Update
Except both have been announced to the HKSE today? ;)
I’ll be doing a proper video piece for it on Sunday…
