It’s not been the best of nights for Blues international players for varying reasons in the second of the international games in the break.

Blues to Out-pace the Trotters? Bolton Preview

It’s the turn of Owen Coyle’s Bolton Wanderers to visit St Andrews tonight with Blues looking to build on the draw to Nottingham Forest at the weekend. Bolton haven’t won away from home this season and they will know that if they are to regain their Premier League status that they are going to have to pick up points on the road.

Tricky Trip to play the Tricky Trees: Forest Preview

The championship returns today with Blues heading up the M42 to play against Sean O’Driscoll’s unbeaten Nottingham Forest side. It’s promising to be a tough trip for Blues, who recorded their first league win against Peterborough United just before the international break.

The Return of Keith

When Blues come in for training this morning at Wast Hills they will be rejoined by Keith Fahey who is completing his rehabilitation from a groin injury that kept him out of the European Championships. Fahey, who trained lightly with the main group last week is back in the swing of things this week and will be looking to be in the squad to travel to the City Ground to play Nottingham Forest at the weekend.

Don’t Panic

I think it’s fairly safe to say that there are a lot of unimpressed Blues fans out there. Two games in, both against promoted opposition and only one point picked up have led to calls from some for changes within the team, new signings – the whole kit and caboodle. Are things really that bad?
