New Investment Analysis
Yesterday afternoon Birmingham International Holdings announced that it had agreed a memorandum of understanding to sell a 12% stake in BCFC to a Beijing-based advertising firm. The deal, which will cost Beijing Liangzhu International Media approx £3.5M values the club at a shade under £30M.

BIH Sells 12 per cent Stake in BCFC to Chinese Advertising Firm
Birmingham International Holdings have confirmed to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in the last hour that they have entered into a binding MOU with a Chinese advertising firm to sell 12% of its shareholding in Birmingham City for HK$45M.

Carson Yeung: Outcome of the Trial Will Not Affect Running of BIH
Carson Yeung has told assembled shareholders of Birmingham International Holdings that the outcome of his trial on five counts of money laundering will have no effect on the operations of the company at the company’s AGM in Hong Kong today.

Putting Your Money Where Your Mouth Is
Friday sees the end of what has been a pivotal week for Birmingham International Holdings – and by extension Birmingham City Football Club. With the announcement on Tuesday of new avenues of funding that to aid liquidity and cashflow for the next couple of years coupled with the eradication of the problematic loan from Carson Yeung to BCFC, it could be seen that things are rosier for Blues. Yet people are unhappy.
