Injury Problems and Squad Opportunities
Birmingham City have some real injury worries ahead of their game against Middlesbrough tomorrow. Jon Toral (dead leg) and Nicolai Brock-Madsen (ankle) could miss the game in addition to longer term absentees Paul Robinson, David Cotterill, Clayton Donaldson and Koby Arthur.

Vaughan and Halford in
Birmingham City beat the transfer deadline to sign two players on emergency loan yesterday. Gary Rowett brought in 27-year-old Huddersfield Town striker James Vaughan and 30-year-old Rotherham United defender Greg Halford on temporary transfers until January 2.

Championship Thoughts
Due to the ongoing participation of Reading in the FA Cup, Blues game from last night has been postponed to an unconfirmed later date. However, there was an almost complete Championship programme of games and as there was no Birmingham City stuff to keep an eye on I took a look at what was happening in the division.
