Getting Ready for the new Season
Birmingham City face Hull City tomorrow at St Andrews in their final friendly of the pre-season before the Championship season kicks off on August 3. Lee Clark has been reported as saying that he intends to field his first XI against Hull as he looks to finalise his plans for the season.

Gossip Folks – Summer 2013 Edition Pt III
With most of Birmingham City’s transfer business being done early in the summer, the gossip pages have been relatively quiet with to the Blues. News of players going out has stopped since the sales of Nathan Redmond and Curtis Davies whilst a trickle of trialists continue to be showing what they can do at Wast Hills.

No Contract for Davis?
Blues boss Lee Clark has told the local press that he can’t give any guarantees over the future of trialist Liam Davis despite the ex-Oxford United player impressing in Ireland. The 26-year-old, who can play at left back or left midfield drew plaudits from Clark but worries over financial constraints mean that as yet no concrete offer appears to be forthcoming.

Pre Season News Round Up
Blues have left out Marlon King and Peter Lovenkrands from their 21 man squad to travel to the Republic of Ireland next week. Both players have been told that they can leave the club on free transfers and have seemingly been left out as Clark plans his Blues team without them next year.
