Neal Eardley yesterday joined the burgeoning ranks of Birmingham City’s loan rangers, joining Leyton Orient on a one month loan deal. With David Edgar joining Huddersfield Town until the end of the season, Olly Lee joining Plymouth and Guy Moussi’s short-term deal not being renewed the first team ranks at Blues has shrunken somewhat in the last few days.

Positivity Sunday

Birmingham City stretched their unbeaten sequence to six games with a third away win on the spin against Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth. It was Blues’ first victory against the Cherries on their home patch in 22 years and completed the best sequence of away results since January 2012 when Blues won four away games on the spin (Millwall, Wolves in the FA Cup, Sheffield United in the FA Cup and Leeds United).

Birmingham City bowed out of the Capital One Cup on Tuesday night losing on penalties after three times coming back to equalise – once in extra time – despite playing seventy-five minutes plus injury time a man down after Wade Elliott’s needless sending off.

Pre Season News Round Up

Blues have left out Marlon King and Peter Lovenkrands from their 21 man squad to travel to the Republic of Ireland next week. Both players have been told that they can leave the club on free transfers and have seemingly been left out as Clark plans his Blues team without them next year.

Novak the Latest to Join the Clark Revolution
