Let’s Face the Music and Dance

The last four days have seen Blues pick up four points and score four goals in two games. It’s been a good return that has seen Birmingham close the gap with the teams immediately above them and with fellow strugglers Bolton Wanderers next up there is a hope that Blues can push on in their quest for points.

Open Letter to Peter Pannu

Blues fans representing supporter groups were informed on Tuesday at the Supporters Club forum that Peter Pannu wanted our questions in order that he may address them in in the near future via a statement. With this in mind, I have written a letter to Mr Pannu, which I have published below. Before anyone says it, this is from me, and me only and represents my opinion and my opinion only.

When Peter Met Gianni

The Birmingham Mail reported on Monday evening that talks between Peter Pannu and Gianni Paladini have begun over the sale of Birmingham City to the consortium fronted by the Solihull-based Italian. Talks are scheduled to continue into today as Paladini looks to finally complete the purchase of the club.

Winter of Discontent

It was revealed on Saturday morning that Peter Pannu was returning to the UK with the news that talks with one of the HK consortiums interested in Blues have stalled and potentially fizzled out. Whilst the news that a potential new investor may well not come to pass now isn’t great it’s the first real confirmation we’ve had of a potential buyer from the former colony.

Paladini v Pannu… Again

In a move almost as predictable as the sun rising in the morning, Gianni Paladini has again gone on the offensive in his bid to buy Birmingham City FC. Having been “insulted” by Pannu’s comments to the South China Morning Post on Saturday, Paladini has demanded two weeks exclusivity to buy the club to prove that he can.
