Yesterday saw an announcement made to the HKSE, confirming that BIH have reached an agreement with U-Continent and also putting into the public domain some of what will happen with the upcoming EGM.

BIH Announcement – Special Deal Reached with U-Continent
Birmingham International Holdings have announced to the Stock Exchange that they have struck a “special deal” with U-Continent, the second largest shareholder in the company and have rescinded all legal action against them.

Early indications from Hong Kong are that Carson Yeung and U-Continent have failed in their bid to have Ernst and Young set aside as Receivers.

Another Day, Another Writ
Birmingham International Holdings have today confirmed in an announcement to the stock exchange that they are pursuing legal action against U-Continent Holdings for failing to disclose their relationship with Carson Yeung.

Carson Demands BIH hold EGM
BIH have today announced to the HKSE that they have received letters from Carson Yeung and from U-Continent in their capacity as major shareholders demanding an EGM be held to remove three directors and appoint three directors of their choosing.

BIH Announce New Loan Agreement

BIH Share Placing/Deed of Novation Analysis
Birmingham International Holdings yesterday told the Hong Kong Stock Exchange plans to raise money by a combination of a share issue and two convertible bond issues along with a deal that would see Birmingham City’s debt to Carson Yeung wiped out.
