Aaron McLean
The Mclean Situation
Steve Bruce has confirmed that despite scoring for Hull City in their FA Cup third round tie against Middlesbrough former Birmingham City loanee Aaron Mclean is likely to leave the KC Stadium in January and that Blues (amongst others) are interested in his services.

Positivity Monday
Birmingham City now know that they will face Swansea City at home in the FA Cup fourth round if they can beat (or lets be honest even get to face) either Crawley Town or Bristol Rovers in the third. It would be a chance for the Swans to avenge the 3-1 defeat they suffered at St Andrews earlier in the season in the League Cup third round.

Begging For Scraps
Blues find themselves with a free weekend due to a quirk of fate that sees their FA Cup third round opponents yet to be decided due to inclement weather on the south coast. However, two recent players in Dan Burn and Aaron Mclean both start for their parent clubs in the Cup as their respective managers take a look at them before deciding if they can stay longer at St Andrews.

Blues Young Guns to take on Newcastle in u21 Premier League Cup
Blues Development Squad take on their Newcastle United counterparts in the U21 Premier League Cup today at St Andrews (2pm kick off). The game which is free to season ticket holders is a good chance to see some of the younger players coming up through the ranks with Blues.
