The Quiet Life
It’s easy to tell it’s quiet around Birmingham City. The local press are left writing pieces on the five things we didn’t know about the coaching staff or which former player thinks we should be sold this week; Blues fans on social media have their gaze turned to the circus across the Expressway and I’m left scratching around for a fluff piece to fill the website.

Trapdoor Pt III
I have to open this post by saying that my gut feeling that 36 or 38 points to stay up was probably wrong. The way the results have panned out this weekend have left me feeling that we must beat Fulham now to be secure in our future; whilst defeat may not ultimately cost us heavily I don’t believe we can afford to find out if that is the case.

Reflections on Birmingham City v Blackpool
My reflections on today’s match: 1) Nikola Zigic IS a good player Whilst his goal came about from a bit of fortune, it was also because he was in the right place at the right time. His goal against Arsenal has obviously given him confidence, and his touch was just superb at times; always looking […]

Marcus Bent
Football is a funny old business – one minute, two clubs are fighting over your signature; the next you’re so far out of the team picture you can score four goals in a reserve team game and still not have a cat in hell’s chance of even sitting on the bench. Step forward Marcus Bent. […]
