Capital One Musings
So it’s almost upon us – the 123rd edition of the Second City derby (by my count at any rate) and the first in four and half years. On Tuesday night Gary Rowett leads his team across the Aston Expressway to the heart of the dark side in B6.

Bring It On
Birmingham City are to play their rivals from across the expressway away from home in the third round of the league cup following their 2-0 win over Gillingham last night. Two goals from Wes Thomas sealed victory in a match that saw debuts from the bench for Nicolai Brock-Madsen and Viv Solomon-Otabor.

GAMEDAY: Blues v Gillingham
Birmingham City take on Gillingham tonight in the League Cup for a place in the third round. Justin Edinburgh’s side are top of League One and will be hopeful of adding to the cup upsets that have already taken place in the first round.

Up for the Cup – Plymouth Preview
