A Cold Night In Coleshill – Birmingham Senior Cup Match Reflections
Birmingham City’s Development Squad won their Birmingham Senior Cup semi-final tie against Coleshill on penalties following a 0-0 draw. A cold night saw both teams draw a blank and it took sudden death spot kicks to seperate the two. Blues will now face West Bromwich Albion or Nuneaton in the Final.

Blues to be Grrreat Against the Tigers? Hull Preview
After a week of craziness off the pitch it’s almost a welcome relief to get back to the football. Today sees the return of former boss Steve Bruce to St Andrews, as he brings his fourth-placed Hull City side looking for another win on the road. Can Blues continue their recent resurgence or is it going to be another blip?

Robinson signs
It’s been announced today that Blues have signed veteran left-back Paul Robinson on a one month deal expiring October 26. Robinson wasn’t previously expected to sign for Blues but a hamstring injury to David Murphy ruling him out for a month has necessitated Lee Clark bringing in experienced cover.

An impressive start
The first match of Lee Clark’s reign pointed to what could be a very good year for Blues when they played Borussia MĂ°nchengladbach yesterday. Whilst the draw might have flattered Blues considering the amount of spurned Gladbach chances, the performance was one of a good quality for the first game back after the summer break and showed signs of promise.
