Thursday sees the final round of Europa League matches which will determine if the dream is to end for Birmingham City, or if they can somehow get back on the road to Bucharest.

Hull City Preview
The last week has been a bit of a slog for the Blues and tomorrow sees a third tough away trip in seven days as Birmingham go to the KC Stadium to face Hull City AFC. Despite losing manager Nigel Pearson to Leicester, Hull are still riding fairly high in the Championship table sitting eighth, six places and four points ahead of Blues.

Goals, Goals, Goals? BCFC v Peterborough preview

Tomorrow sees the return of the Championship to St Andrews with the visit of Peterborough United. It’ll have been three weeks since the last home league game and sixteen days since the thrilling draw against Club Brugge, so I suspect I won’t be the only fan chomping at the bit to watch Blues in action again.

Can Blues Stop the Seagulls to Make it Seven? Brighton Preview
It’s been some time since we last played Brighton and Hove Albion – sixteen years in fact since the last league meeting – and both sides have gone through some changes in that time. The Seagulls come to Blues having made a decent start to the season under Gus Poyet, and with Blues on fire formwise recently it promises to be a good fixture.

Off to Partizan: Brugge Preview.

It’s twenty four hours until the Brummie invasion of Belgium and judging by the mood on the fora and social media out there people are in an advance state of excitement. I know I am – the idea of so many bluenoses converging on foreign shores in the name of football just makes me burst with pride. Normally, for a preview I’d look at teams etc but as this is a bit of a special game, this is a bit of a special preview.

Foxes come to St Andrews
Ye Gods and little children, football at St Andrews this weekend. It feels like an absolute age since our last game at home – well, three weeks is a long time I guess. And yet I have this massive feeling it’s going to be an anti-climax with so many fans looking forward to the trip to Brugge in midweek. However, Sven is coming to town and thus I present my Leicester preview.

Knocking Wood?
One thing I’ve been surprised to read about recently is people knocking our on-loan Kiwi goalscorer Chris Wood for not being “good enough as a footballer”. You’d think a guy who’s got eight goals in eleven games for Blues including a perfect hat-trick against Millwall would be getting more plaudits – but weirdly, there is definitely some criticism of him.
