Another Tough Away Game For Blues – Cardiff Preview
Not much more than seventy-two hours after grabbing a well-fought win against Brighton Blues face another tough trip – this time to Cardiff City. Malky Mackay’s men are flying high in the division and Blues will once again have to be at their best to get anything from this game.

Ambrose: The Next Piece In The Blues Jigsaw
Blues wrapped up their fourth signing in five days with the capture of midfielder Darren Ambrose from Crystal Palace for an undisclosed fee. The 28-year-old was entering the final year of his contract at Selhurst Park and has moved to Blues on a two year deal with a further year’s option.

A Month of Progress?
If May was a month of stasis, then June was certainly a month of change. June has seen the appointment of a new manager, a new backroom staff, a new kit deal and changes with the parent company in Hong Kong. There has been a lot to keep up with, and I hope now that July will be a month of progress.

The Five Stages of Supporting Blues
Twenty-four hours is a long time in football. In that time I’ve seen the whole gamut of emotions within the comments here after the departure of Jordon Mutch to Cardiff. I like to think of it as the five stages of Birmingham City.

Anger and Frustration
I think it’s safe to say that the sale of Jordon Mutch has gone down like a lead balloon. Judging by the reaction on here, on Facebook and on Twitter there are some very angry Bluenoses out there – and in fairness, I can’t say I blame them. It’s not been a great month for Blues, has it?

The End of the Road?
Normally when I when I write these previews I look at statistical sequences, injuries and what-not and write a factual piece. However, we already know a bit about Blackpool – we’ve played them three times this season, including on Friday night – so I’m going to skip all that and tell you how I think Blues can win the tie.

Tangerine Dreaming? The Blackpool Preview (away leg)
So, it comes down to this. A two-legged shootout for the chance to play in the big tamale, the play off final. Blues are now up to game sixty one – can they make it to the end of the road and all the love that they’ve been dreaming of – or are their bodies too tired and weary?
