The Daily Mail reported this evening that Birmingham City were considering extending Nikola Zigic’s contract at Blues. The Serbian striker, who is contracted to Blues until June 2014 is on a reported £60,000 a week this season and the idea would be to halve his salary this year but keep him on next season as well, to try to reduce this year’s commitments.
