EGM Analysis
Birmingham International Holdings yesterday evening announced the results of the Extraordinary General Meeting, held in the Shangri-La hotel in Kowloon yesterday. As expected, the resolutions went through unanimously allowing the holding company to proceed with their plans to place new shares and to novate Carson’s loan to BCFC.

Carson Yeung: Outcome of the Trial Will Not Affect Running of BIH
Carson Yeung has told assembled shareholders of Birmingham International Holdings that the outcome of his trial on five counts of money laundering will have no effect on the operations of the company at the company’s AGM in Hong Kong today.

Birmingham City File Operating Loss of £9mil for Year Ending 2013
Birmingham City FC and it’s UK parent company Birmingham City PLC have both filed their accounts with companies house for the year ending 2013 today. The accounts show an operating loss of £9.1mil on a turnover of £24.2mil despite player wages being cut by £2.2mil per year.

Paladini to the Rescue?
James Nursey of the Mirror broke a story last night that former QPR chairman Gianni Paladini is close to completing a takeover of Birmingham City. The story goes on to say that MirrorSport hears that talks have been successful and the hope is that the takeover could be concluded before November.
