Beaten But Not Bowed
Alas, it wasn’t meant to be. Despite coming back from the dead and looking like it was actually possible for ten minutes or so, Blues couldn’t quite get the result that was needed and have bowed out of the playoffs.

Pride, Passion and the Right Mentality
So here we are. The first of two, possibly three games that will govern which division Blues will play in next season and may well decide the future path of the club for the next few years. Blackpool Bound
As the month of April draws to a close so to does the Championship season with all that is left to be decided being the playoffs. Twenty Four Goals: The Playoff Picture
It might have been a fourth draw in succession for Blues, but the 1-1 draw against Brighton all but mathematically assures Blues a place in the playoffs in May. For a team that was in fifteenth place in November and that will be playing it’s 60th game of a marathon season next weekend, it’s an achievement.

The Playoff Picture
With four games left to go in the Npower Championship, the playoff picture is looking a little more clear-cut – and thanks to ten points in an eleven day period Blues are now firmly esconced in the top six.

The Race For The Playoffs
It’s been a tough few weeks for Blues and their fellow competitors for a top six slot, with most of the teams in and around the current top six having dropped points here and there. I made the point in my match reflections that I’m starting to think Blues might have blown their chances of promotion – which may be a bit reactionary as we’re still top six – and I thought having read the comments I should expand on that.
