Beale Attains Pro Licence
Blues were proud to announce yesterday that Development Squad coach Richard Beale has attained the top coaching qualification in football having been awarded his UEFA Pro Licence. Beale is the third Blues coach after Kristjaan Speakman and Paul Harsley to have attained the qualification with Steve Spooner and Gary Rowett himself both also studying for it.

The Importance of u21 Signings
While it’s been exciting of late to look at potential new signings that Blues may be able to bring in, one thing that has crossed my mind is how hard it must be for Gary Rowett to balance immediate need for players with the prospect of blocking the pathways of Academy and Development Squad graduates to the first team.

Fourth Gray Bid Rejected
Bournemouth had a fourth bid for teenage winger Demarai Gray knocked back yesterday as Blues insist that they are not selling. The bid, believed to be in the region of £3.5million with add-ons to take it up to £4million follows on the heels of one for £3.2million last week by the Cherries who seem desperate to add Gray to their team.

Give Youth a Chance
With nine games left of the Championship season, Blues sit in fourteenth place seven points clear of the drop zone on forty-six points. Whilst relegation is still easily possible the hope would now be that Blues will be safe in the Championship for the season and can start looking to next season.
