The Rise of Will Packwood
Whilst the Blues season so far hasn’t been one to shout about, there have been some pleasing cameos from some of the younger prospects. 19-year-old Will Packwood has come of age this year in a Blues shirt, making his debut in the League Cup match against Barnet and his league debut the Saturday after against Charlton. It’s been a meteoric rise for the young American and one has to wonder how much further he can go this season.

Tame the Terriers? Huddersfield Town Preview
Blues take on Lee Clark’s former charges Huddersfield Town at St Andrews on Saturday in the Championship with both teams looking to bounce back from midweek defeats. It will be Clark’s first match against his former club and he is insistent that this won’t be a grudge match after his sacking by the Terriers last season.

Another Tough Away Game For Blues – Cardiff Preview
Not much more than seventy-two hours after grabbing a well-fought win against Brighton Blues face another tough trip – this time to Cardiff City. Malky Mackay’s men are flying high in the division and Blues will once again have to be at their best to get anything from this game.

Rocked in Brighton? Championship Preview
Blues head to the south coast today to try to pick up the pieces after last weekend’s humiliating defeat against Gus Poyet’s bang in form Brighton and Hove Albion. It promises to be a tough match and the question is whether Lee Clark’s men will fight to restore their pride or roll over and die again.

Taking on the Tykes – Barnsley Preview
Today sees Keith Hill’s Barnsley side come to St Andrews to take on a Blues side who have taken seven points from their last three games. It’s almost a year to the day since the corresponding fixture last year which saw Jacob Butterfield score a 30 yarder in controversial circumstances after a foul on David Murphy to put the Tykes in front before Chris Burke equalised late on for the Blues.

Blues To Bounce Back At The Ricoh? Capital One Cup 2nd Round Preview v Coventry
After the disappointment of the performance on Saturday Blues need to pick themselves up for their trip to the Ricoh Stadium to play Coventry in the second round of the Capital One Cup.
