Ridgewell Retrospective
After months of speculation as to where he would go, Liam Ridgewell has finally departed St Andrews for pastures new just up the Soho Road. I thought I’d take a look back at the player who was until his departure the team’s current top appearance maker and the last player in the squad signed by Steve Bruce.

A Blue Day for Grayson? – Leeds United Preview
Another day, another trip up the M1 – this time to face Leeds United in the Championship. This will be the 39th game of the campaign for Chris Hughton’s boys, and the question will be if they can keep their fine recent form up against a Leeds side unbeaten in three.

Buzzing for the Hornets? Watford Preview
It’s back to the Championship again after the FA Cup victory in midweek, with Sean Dyche bringing his 18th placed Watford to St Andrews looking to become the first Championship side to win at St Andrews. For Blues however, it’s a chance to keep up their push into the promotion race.

Tractor Boys coming to town – the Ipswich preview
Tomorrow sees the visit of Paul Jewell’s Ipswich Town to St Andrews as Blues return to Championship action. This is one of the two games in hand that Blues have thanks to their participation in the Europa League, and is a good chance for the team to continue it’s push up the table.

The Transfer Merry Go Round
Well, we’re a week into the transfer window and as yet, barring the extension of Guirane N’Daw’s loan bugger all has happened. There’s been a bit in the papers about who Blues are going to sell and for how much, but nothing concrete has emerged from the club as of yet. I don’t really want to get into who’s going where, but I did want to write an article about transfers in general.

The Magic of The Cup
On Saturday Birmingham City will entertain our canine (or lupine, depending on which you prefer) rivals from Wolverhampton in the FA Cup. It’s an interesting match, because I think it’s one that will give us an idea of what the future month holds.
