Momentum and Change
Judging by the way my twitter feed exploded yesterday after the announcement made by Peter Pannu and Birmingham City there are a lot of fans who want to know just who is behind this British/North American consortium who are in negotiations for the club – which if one considers the protracted nature of the sale of the club is understandable.

Confirmation the Wheels Are Turning
The announcement made by Birmingham International Holdings to the Stock Exchange was seen as anticlimactic yesterday after a day of waiting to see why the holding company had requested a halt in the trading of shares in the company. The announcement seemed to confirm nothing that hadn’t already been reported and has raised some people’s suspicions due to the ongoing secrecy around the bids.

Complications
It seems somewhat disturbing to me that the biggest and most read news story this week has been about a fan paying £300 for a Lego replica of St Andrews. Although the early part of the close season is the quietest time in football with players gone off on their hols there is a lot that should be going on that doesn’t seem to be happening and the sense of not only frustration at the lack of news but scepticism that there will be is palpable.

Consensus
Another day has passed in the interminable wait for news on a proposed takeover of Birmingham City without any news and with that ever more scepticism is rising from Blues fans that there is anything happening.

The Long Wait Continues
As rumour of the impending sale of Birmingham City rumbles on, we enter a new week without an announcement to the HKSE from Birmingham International Holdings as to a preferred bidder.
