Carson Loses Appeal
It has been confirmed in the last twenty minutes that Carson Yeung’s appeal against the freezing of his assets has been dismissed by the appeal court in Hong Kong.

Carson Court Date
It’s been confirmed by the Hong Kong judiciary that Carson Yeung will be back in court on Monday to hear the result of his appeal against his assets freeze.

Carson Yeung’s other business interest SMI Publishing announced yesterday that they were to change their name to Sing Pao Media Group as they bid to get themselves relisted on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Some Thoughts on the Latest BIHL Announcement
I’ve had a few people ask me via various methods of contact for my opinions on the announcement made by Birmingham International Holdings on the 11th about the revised memorandum and articles of association. Whilst I’ve not had time to fully digest the 57 page document, I thought I would jot down some thoughts and feelings on the matter.

Birmingham International Holdings have made an announcement to the Hong Kong stock exchange that publication of the Interim Results for the six months ending 31 December 2011 are to be delayed until 31 May 2012.

Delayed Accounts – update
Since the news broke that once again the end of year financial results for Birmingham International Holdings were to be delayed there has been much speculation. With this in mind I have spent the last ten days or so trying to find out if there is anything further we can learn with regards to this continued delay and if there are any sanctions that may be placed against BIH.
