Going Posh – Peterborough Match Preview
Birmingham City travel to Peterborough United today in a match that sees two of the lower teams in the division face off. The Posh have been in good form of late and will be wanting to show that they are more than just George Boyd, who has moved to Hull City on loan earlier in the week.

Ambrose and a Five Man Midfield
Lee Clark this week spoke about he thought Darren Ambrose had a lot to offer the Birmingham City side still and how Blues fans haven’t seen the best of him. The twenty-eight year old midfielder has made just seven appearances since signing from Crystal Palace for £250,000 and has only scored one goal – on his debut against Barnet in the League Cup.

Play From the Whistle: Blackpool Preview
Blues travel to Blackpool tonight in the wake of two successive 3-2 defeats looking to get something from Michael Appleton’s Tangerines. It makes the second game in a busy six-day spell and it will be interesting to see if and how Clark changes things.

Tricky Trip to play the Tricky Trees: Forest Preview
The championship returns today with Blues heading up the M42 to play against Sean O’Driscoll’s unbeaten Nottingham Forest side. It’s promising to be a tough trip for Blues, who recorded their first league win against Peterborough United just before the international break.

Don’t Panic
I think it’s fairly safe to say that there are a lot of unimpressed Blues fans out there. Two games in, both against promoted opposition and only one point picked up have led to calls from some for changes within the team, new signings – the whole kit and caboodle. Are things really that bad?
